The Government has announced plans to create a £3bn Green Investment Bank. This bank will provide financial investment to stimulate the green economy. Soon, the Government will decide where to site the bank’s headquarters.
The bank would boost the City Region’s reputation as a hub for financial and professional services and low carbon innovation, bringing jobs and investment to the local economy.
